1. The purpose of the program
=============================
eClean 2000 is a simple text editor which allows you to clean-up 
and reconstruct forwarded e-mails.

2. Installation
===============

  a.  Unzip EClean21.zip into a temporary directory.  
  b.  Run setup.exe and follow the instructions on the screen.
  c.  Delete the extracted files in the temporary directory
      from above.

3. Shareware
============

eClean 2000 is distributed as shareware.  After installation,
refer to the programs help file (EClean.hlp) for 
more licensing and distribution information.

4. Distribution
===============

Both files in EClean21.zip must be distributed in their 
original form:

readme.txt (this file)
SETUP.EXE  (installation program)

5. What's New in eClean 2000 (version 2.1.0)
==========================================

eClean now operates as a system tray or as a stand alone application.  
This means that eClean's functionality is available automatically after your
PC reboots or on demand from the Windows Start menu.  You choose!
When in system tray mode,  eClean's icon (an envelope) can be found in your 
system tray (lower right portion of the screen by the clock).

Using the right mouse button, click on eClean's system tray icon
to show a menu of commands that are available from the tray menu.

Most notably, you can now clean the contents of the clipboard 
by simply copying some text into the clipboard and
selecting "Clean Clipboard Contents..." from the tray menu.

This will clean the text found in the clipboard without 
requiring you to open eClean, paste the text and recopy the
text back into the clipboard.  This is a real timesaver!!!
